How do we respond to difficult circumstances? Do we find ourselves questioning the goodness of God and whether He is in control? What should be the aim of our lives? What really counts? The book of Philippians addresses these questions as the Apostle Paul reveals the heart of a true disciple. He shows us where true joy is found. He summed up this life with an incredible statement, “To live is Christ, and to die is gain.” What does that mean for us today? Join us for another Shelly Smith Bible Study as we explore this short powerful book together.
Every Tuesday morning in Room 130. $8. Email Sharon Allen or call her at 425-882-1477 for more information.
What we like about this study is the appropriateness of the topic. We all find ourselves in difficult situations. What’s the proper response? How do we know what is truly important? Shelly Smith encourages us to read God’s Word to find our answers. As we study each passage we will look for practical ways to apply these truths to our current lives. ~ Shawna, Anna, Becky and Judy
